What an absolute joy this career is because I get to meet couples like Sarah and Jaxon! I love learning about each couple’s love story and what brought them together and they have such a sweet journey that most relationships would not have lasted through. When they first met, Sarah was living in Haiti so talk about a long distance relationship. They did long distance for years before Sarah was able to move to Indiana to be with Jaxon. I cannot imagine how tough that was on their relationship but look at them now! I feel like this is the perfect example of love prevails.

We had a lot of rain in July but on this day, July 30th, it was all sunshine! Their ceremony at Saint Raphael Catholic Church was sprinkled with traditions from both families. Sarah walked down the aisle with her Uncle, Fr Charles at her side and he also helped officiate the ceremony. Such a special moment for each family.

Of course there was a grand celebration to follow. The reception kicked off at Thyen-Clark Cultural Center in Jasper, with live music and tropical flowers as decoration. Again, I cannot stress enough how great this day was for Sarah, Jaxon and their family and friends. I loved capturing every moment and look forward to seeing where life takes them!
