As both an adoring mom and a newlywed, I understand the importance of celebrating life in your own way. Which is why we got married at our favorite brewery focused on spending the day together, even before the ceremony! Then at the reception, we skipped the bouquet toss and cake cutting and went straight for the eating and dancing. Weddings don’t have to be perfect, they just need to be special and reflect you as a couple.

Ali and Briar were married on Oct 5th on a gorgeous Fall Day in Indiana. The days leading up to the wedding it had been pretty hot and humid but literally the day before a cool front came through and poof, it was Fall!

The wedding party got ready on the venue property in their separate suites. The bridesmaids filled the room for hair and makeup…and lots of champagne bottles were popped! The guys hung out and played a few rounds of cornhole before getting dressed.

Once Ali slipped into her gorgeous long sleeve gown and all the final touches were done, it was off to do a first look with her Dad and brother. She gifted her dad a custom tie with a sweet little message on it. She also had a “gift” for her brother…he drank it. Now it’s time to see Briar and they were both so excited to finally get to be around each other. Even though Briar saw Ali before the ceremony that didn’t stop him from getting emotional when she walked down the aisle.

The ceremony took place in the woods at Hamner Ridge. It really reflected Ali’s Boho side. White pumpkins and lanterns lined the aisle with lots of candles placed around. It was a short and sweet ceremony with personal vows, some tears, and lots of giggles. Once the ceremony was finished, it was back to the barn for the celebration.

The barn was breathtaking. Candles and geometric glass vases gave a very modern vide to the reception. It did not take long for everyone to enjoy drinks and food then filled the dance floor. Cake and a variety of cake balls were the perfect dessert! Ali and Briar pretty much thought of everything so of course there was a sparkler send off!

Long story short, it was an amazing day for everyone! Ali and Briar really put a lot of love into every detail and it showed! I can’t say enough nice things about Ali and Briar as individuals and as a couple! I’m so glad our paths crossed a few years ago and I’m fortunate enough to call them friends! Congrats to the new Mr & Mrs Sparks!
