Brittany and Gage were married June 22 at the Rockport City Park. This was such a light hearted day full of happy tears, matching converse shoes and lots of laughs. Luckily, we were able to beat the rain and have the sweetest first look outside. Gage was emotional even before Brittany stepped out of the house. Neither of them could hold back their excitement and tears! We took some bridal party portraits and then headed to the venue but by the time we got there the rain had moved in. Don’t worry, it did not put a damper on photos or the party!

Brittany had her heart set on an outdoor wedding under a big tree in the park but since Mother Nature had other plans the ceremony was moved inside. Even though it was not in their ideal location it was still a beautiful ceremony. Brittany and Gage wrote their own vows which was the perfect personal and emotional touch to the day.

The reception kicked off the celebration with chips and salsa, margaritas and a fajita bar. Needless to say, we were in heaven! Once the toast and first dances were done it was time for the garter toss. Gage was blindfolded and his best man, Kyle stepped in as the “bride” with the garter on his leg. I think Kyle enjoyed it and Gage was shocked when he took off his blindfold.
