Friedman Park Wedding in Newburgh Indiana | Joshua & Emily

Weddings

Joshua and Emily’s wedding day at Friedman Park in Newburgh was filled with heartfelt moments, joyful celebration, and the kind of love that surrounds you when two families come together. From the beginning of the day, it was clear how close Joshua and Emily are with their families and how meaningful it was to have everyone there to celebrate with them.

Before the ceremony, Emily shared a beautiful first look with her bridesmaids, dad and her grandparents. It was such a sweet and emotional moment as they saw her in her wedding dress for the first time. There were smiles, happy tears, and so much excitement as everyone took in the moment together.

Joshua also shared a special first look with his grandmother. It was a quiet and sweet moment that meant so much to both of them.

Rather than seeing each other before the ceremony, Joshua and Emily chose to exchange private letters. They stood back to back with each another, reading their words and taking a moment to reflect on the day ahead. It was such a personal and emotional part of the day, and a beautiful way for them to connect before walking down the aisle.

Their ceremony took place outside by the lake at Friedman Park, one of the most beautiful settings in Newburgh for an outdoor wedding. Guests gathered along the water as Emily walked down the aisle with her dad toward Joshua waiting beneath the wooden pavilion. The lakeside view, warm sunshine, and the presence of their closest friends and family made the ceremony feel incredibly intimate.

After the ceremony, we spent time at Friedman Park for portraits. With its open green spaces, lake views, and beautiful evening light, it’s such a wonderful location for wedding portraits. The relaxed setting made it easy for Joshua and Emily to simply enjoy being together and soak in the first moments of their marriage.

The celebration continued inside with dinner, toasts, and an unforgettable dance floor. Joshua and Emily shared a beautiful first dance before the party truly began, and their friends and family kept the energy going all night long.

Joshua and Emily’s wedding day was a perfect reflection of who they are – joyful, genuine, and deeply connected to the people around them. It was such an honor to capture these memories and document the beginning of their marriage surrounded by so much love.
