There’s something about an Indiana sunset in the country that never gets old.
Katie and Mason’s engagement session took place just outside of Indianapolis in the most beautiful open field with rolling hills and farmland views. The scenery was peaceful, timeless, and the perfect fit for their laid-back, sweet connection.
As an Indianapolis engagement photographer, I’m always drawn to locations like this — wide open space, soft natural light, and a setting that feels effortless and romantic without trying too hard.
This session had everything I love: tall grass, open sky, and that golden-hour glow that makes everything feel cinematic. The hills gave us the prettiest natural backdrop, and as the sun dropped lower, the entire field turned into warm, dreamy light.
Katie and Mason were so easy together – relaxed, comfortable, and completely in their own world. Those are always my favorite sessions. The kind where you don’t have to force anything… you just let them be.
