Cassie and Kurt had to do what so many couples are doing right now and that is completely change their wedding plans due to Covid-19. I was kinda blessed to be brought into their plans just a short few weeks ago and I’m so glad it worked out for me to be there. Cassie contacted me just needing 3-4 hours of coverage for their ceremony that would only involved 10 family members. I’m sure shortening their guest list and wedding party was incredably sad but their family really surrounded them with so much love and they could still feel the support from those not there. Some groomsmen and bridesmaids stopped by to show their love and from what I saw on social media it looked like a parade of family and friends that drove by to honk and celebrate that evening.
The day started like every wedding day with hair & makeup for the ladies and beers for the guys! 🙂 Kurt and Cassie both exchanged a heartfelt letter from each other. It was pretty obvious their relationship was something special and they were no strangers to obstacles so when Covid-19 hit they were not letting it stop them from becoming husband and wife.
Their ceremony at Ferdinand Catholic Church was a traditional Catholic wedding and very personal, intimate and relaxed. It was unusual having an empty church but at the same time there was something really amazing about it. It also made for some quick and easy family photos afterwards at St Meinrad. Cassie and Kurt ended their wedding day at her parents house for a celebration and nice meal with family.
Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Fromme! Thank you for including me in your perfect Spring wedding day!
