Which is why we got married at our favorite brewery focused on spending the day together, even before the ceremony! Then at the reception, we skipped the bouquet toss and cake cutting and went straight for the eating and dancing. Weddings don’t have to be perfect, they just need to be special and reflect you as a couple.

It’s been a crazy week so I am a little behind on blogging this gorgeous wedding! We have been trying to do as much summer activities before school starts next week and this beautiful Bride, Kari is enjoying her honeymoon before she is back in the classroom teaching.

The day started with the ladies at the salon for hair and makeup. Mimosas (hold the OJ) were already being passed around as we arrived. Lots of giggles and anticipation filled the air along with 90’s pop music. Bridesmaids were busy painting nails and writing speeches while the guys were very busy…brunching. Then it was off to the church!

Kari and Kyle were married at Kyle’s home church of St Joseph University. It was a sweet service that also had guests laughing. Once they were pronounced husband and wife it was time to finish up some family photos before the celebration started. As soon as those were done, the wedding party piled into a party bus to get the festivities going and head to the reception.

Sycamore Winery was the perfect reception spot for Kyle and Kari. The tables were decorated with candles, eucalyptus, personalized wine glasses and draped with dusty rose fabric. The entire rooms fills with sunlight making it so inviting and a dream for photographers! It didn’t take long for family and friends to enjoy some of Sycamore’s wine and craft beer on the back patio while playing an assortment of yard games.

We loved every minute of this wedding day and was sad to see it come to an end! This is our last summer wedding for 2019 since we do not have another wedding until September and we couldn’t think of a better couple to wrap up summer wedding season with! Kyle and Kari radiate love and are some of the most genuine people around and we wish them a lifetime of happiness!
