Which is why we got married at our favorite brewery focused on spending the day together, even before the ceremony! Then at the reception, we skipped the bouquet toss and cake cutting and went straight for the eating and dancing. Weddings don’t have to be perfect, they just need to be special and reflect you as a couple.

Deena and Caleb were married Saturday July 6 at Stoney Ridge Event Center. When I first met with Deena about her wedding she wasn’t sure any details about the day since Caleb was stationed in Texas but luckily she was able to have her dream wedding in her hometown of Robinson, Illinois. When we arrived at the salon everyone was busy with hair and makeup and it wasn’t long before a bridesmaid was wheeling in a cooler of beverages. The guys had a cooler of their own while they got ready back at the venue. The ceremony and reception were both held at Stoney Ridge, a big open barn with a dock overlooking a small lake. Deena did a first look with her bridesmaids and dad but saved her first look with Caleb until the ceremony! Emotions ran high as she walked down the aisle. Once they were pronounced husband and wife we went back outside for a few more photos. (also I want to add, the only time it rained was during the ceremony. Perfect timing for an indoor wedding) From the moment the ceremony was over Caleb and Deena couldn’t keep their eyes off each other. They were always embracing and talking to each other. It was pretty obvious they have a genuine love for each other.

The celebration kicked off with some delicious food and plenty of drinks. Toast and cheering were done and Deena and Caleb hit the dance floor for the first time as Mr & Mrs Myers. After the cake was cut and and served we hopped back outside for a few newlywed photos while the sun set! Photos with these two was easy! They just soak up every minute with each and can’t stop smiling.

Deena and Caleb, thank you so much for allowing us to capture your love story! I know the distance between you both at the moment will only make you stronger! I can’t wait to see your love grow even more.
