Kelsey and Meagan were married June 29th at 20 West in Newburgh Indiana. It was the perfect way to end Pride Month! We arrived at the salon to lots of laughs and lots of drinks! Both Brides were there getting ready but still managed to stay hidden from each other. Once everyone was done with hair and makeup they headed back to the Lockmaster Cottages. While we took detail shots of Kelsey’s dress and accessories, they played games and giggled around the kitchen table. Kelsey had a little box of things ready for me including that gorgeous glass geometrical ring case! Which is what Meagan used to propose to Kelsey with. Meagan was next door with her family so we hopped over there as well to hang out and get her detail shots as well.
Kelsey and Meagan did a first look and Meagan wanted to do it right were the ceremony took place so she could still get that grand entrance of her wife walking down the aisle. 20 West had the venue set up perfectly with candles lit and light music in the background. It really set a romantic tone for them. Shortly after the first look we dove into wedding party portraits. It was a HOT one on Saturday we did photos in waves and took plenty of A/C breaks. Luckily they planned an indoor ceremony! It was such a sweet union and I’m not sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the house as both Meagan and Kelsey walked down the aisle with their dads. The officiant did a beautiful job telling stories about each of them and the significance of all of us being there that day and witnessing this marriage. Kelsey and Meagan read their own vows which had everyone back in tears and planted a tree using soil from each of their home states. Did I mention how perfect it was?!
After they were pronounced Mrs & Mrs Quiamboa-Starks, we hopped back outside for a few more portraits. Downtown Newburgh never disappoints! Then it was back to the venue to get the celebration started! From toast to rainbow cake and Bauerhaus serving some of the best reception food ever, it was quite the event to remember. First dances took place out on the courtyard under the stars and string lights. Everyone soon filled the dance floor to join!
What. A. Day! Gosh, I can’t say enough about Kelsey and Meagan and the love they share for each other and their family. We feel beyond honored to not only have met them through this process but now can call them friends! We wish you so much happiness and thank you for letting us be a part of this day with you all!
