We were were excited to kick off the Spring wedding season with Brittany and Steven! The ladies hung out doing hair and makeup while sipping wine at The Farmer and Frenchmen Cabins. These cabins are the perfect spot for wedding parties or a couple’s weekend getaway! After a few photos and exchanging of gifts with Brittany’s parent’s and son (and after everyone dried their eyes) we headed to the church for the ceremony.
They had a beautiful wedding planned even if the weather didn’t cooperate 100% but luckily it only rained for about a couple of hours. Their ceremony at Deer Creek Lodge was a rustic wooden barn church tucked in the fields of Kentucky. It was quiet and peaceful and the perfect atmosphere for their intimate wedding.
After the ceremony, the celebration kicked off at Farmer and Frenchmen and Brittany and Steven had it decorated perfectly with greenery and garden inspired centerpieces. Everyone enjoyed Appetizers and a Meal by Jayson Munoz with house made wine. Not only did everyone indulge in cake but there was also Bliss Artisan’s ice cream. Needless to say the line for ice cream was long!
After spending the day with everyone it was heartwarming to see Steven’s bond with Brittany’s son Bentley. It it obvious that little boy is loved! The 3 of them are the sweetest little family and I feel blessed to have gotten to know them. Congratulation to the new Mr & Mrs Critchelow!
