John & Ann – St Peter and Paul Wedding

Weddings

John and Ann were married over the Thanksgiving weekend and what a celebration it was! It’s pretty obvious they both have a strong and loving bond with each other. Ann just radiated with joy and John seemed mesmerized by her all day.

Their first look with each other was located in the garden at St. Peter and Paul that has a memorial stone for Ann’s dad. That moment for them was dearly personal and a loving tribute to her dad . They chose not to have a “wedding party” but instead asked their kids to stand up at the alter with them. So the traditional wedding party photos were actually family photos! This blended family already had such a loving relationship. They all walked into the ceremony together as a family. Even John and Ann walked in together.

The Catholic ceremony was utter perfection. Father Tony always makes it so personal and Ann’s nephew also helped since he is also a priest which was an added bonus! Once the ceremony was over John and Ann dismissed rows and we took a few photos and sent them off to celebrate at Madden Hall. They only needed a couple of hours of coverage so we were happy to be there if only for a portion of it.

I’m so glad Ann and John invited me to not only witness, but to photograph this beautiful union of families. I really don’t know how to put into words how sweet they are and how honored I am to know them. They are so deserving of each other! God is good!
