Jon and Sophie were married on August 4th at Saint Bartholomew Catholic Church in Columbus Indiana. They had one of the most beautiful and spiritual ceremonies I’ve ever seen! Being raised Catholic, I have a big appreciation for catholic weddings. Their ceremony was all in Latin so needless to say, I struggled to understand the words but enjoyed every aspect and especially watching Jon and Sophie. They followed along and even mouthed the words with Father Gregory. There were moments of tears, laughter and at times they were so peaceful in prayer. 

After the ceremony, family and wedding party met at Harrison Lake Country Club for photos while guest enjoyed cocktail hour. Sophie had Enflora from Indianapolis do the beautiful pale pink flowers for the ceremony and bouquets and then Mary Inman from Devils Ridge Flower Farm did all the bright bold flower arrangements at the reception. The whole room popped with color and string lights. During the toast they opened up the floor for anyone to give a speak and wish the happy couple well. It was so fun hearing from family and friends and it is very obvious this sweet couple is loved. After spending the day with them I can see why. Jon and Sophie are so kind and genuine and have a way of making you feel so calm and at ease. Sophie was glowing all day and couldn’t keep her eyes off her husband. At times, Jon would stand back and just admire his bride. 

Wedding days can be hectic and stressful but they didn’t get caught up in all the details and extras and truly made the day about the union between them and God and of course the celebration.
