Hello! I decided to make my first blog post about me! I thought maybe that will help you understand the person behind the photos and blogs! So a little about me…I was born and raised in Southern Indiana. I recently built my little dream home on family land and live only a few hundred yards from my childhood home. I share my home with two pretty awesome guys. One being my 12 year old son Patton. I started the business shortly after having him. (hence the name Patton Photo) Also my fiance, Ian. (We tie the knot this October!) If you have booked your wedding with me then you likely met him or will very soon. He has become quite the photog himself and is my 2nd shooter at weddings. 

A few of my favorite things are…

• plants & tree (I get this from my Mom and Grandma who both have very green thumbs but I’m quite the opposite although it doesn’t stop me from trying!)
• photos & polaroids (duh!)
• I collect globes which goes along with my love of traveling and seeing new places
• ALLLLL the quilts but especially the ones both my Grandmas hand made
• my roots – Indiana! (812)
• hats! I have an embarrassing about of hats
• coffee!
• notebooks and pretty scrapbook paper
• chocolate, especially dark
• craft beer or any beer really
• string lights! What is about string lights? They just set the mood and photograph so well!
• home with my boys and family time
